RFBI Coffs Harbour Masonic Village is a modern and inviting village located close to shops and local amenities. The Village provides all levels of care and includes a secure area with gardens for those living with dementia. All rooms are single with ensuite and generously proportioned. Residents have access to a range of communal areas and beautiful landscaped gardens. Within each wing residents can also enjoy a smaller lounge room and private entertainment areas.

About the Opportunity
Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution (RFBI) has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Care Manager to join their dynamic team in Coffs Harbour, NSW.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role is primarily responsible for the effective delivery of inspired care to older persons, ensuring clients receive care based on their needs and preferences, keeping with the values of RFBI.
Within this position, your key responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- Ensuring clients' needs are identified through a comprehensive assessment process and individual care plans;
- Building rapport with clients families and strengthen ongoing relationships;
- Managing and allocating human resources, material, and financial resources to achieve planned goals and outcomes;
- Coordinating performance management of all care staff and their subordinates, undertaking disciplinary measures if required;
- Conducting regular monthly departmental staff meetings;
- Coordinating all aspects of the financial, budgeting; and
- Co-ordinating and supervising External Contractors facilitating services to the facility.
To be successful in this role, you must be a Registered Nurse, currently registered with AHPRA, with clinical and management experience within an aged care or healthcare/nursing environment. You will also have proven knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards and ACFI Funding (Aged Care Funding Instrument).
Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution is seeking an empathetic and warm individual, with proven ability to implement change. You must also have excellent leadership and communication skills, as you will also be working with people from diverse backgrounds.
This role will require a candidate with strong time management and customer service skills, as you will be managing resources and working to budgets. You will have a good level of computer literacy, as well as experience in the management and recruitment of staff.
While not essential, candidates with a Tertiary qualification in Management or equivalent, and knowledge of the Aged Care industry, will be highly regarded.
Please note: A current Driver's Licence and current Federal Police Clearance are requirements of this position.
